It’s been a year and a half since we moved into our home, and while some rooms have undergone major transformations, others remain bare and untouched. One area that’s been begging for some attention is our upstairs hallway—specifically, the window area. Right now, it’s a blank slate, and I can’t decide what direction to take!

To help visualize my options, I put together three styling ideas. Each has its own charm, and I’d love to hear which one is your favorite!

Option 1: A Cozy Reading Nook

Imagine a comfy armchair nestled by the window, framed with elegant curtains and accented with vintage-inspired artwork. I love the idea of creating a little retreat where you can sit, sip your coffee, and enjoy the view. A chair in an unexpected place always adds charm, and this setup would bring warmth and personality to the hallway.

Option 2: Elevated Elegance with Wallpaper & a Bench

For a more dramatic upgrade, I’m considering wallpaper, an upholstered bench, a sconce light, and some artwork. The wallpaper would add instant character and make the space feel intentional. I also love the idea of incorporating a sconce—especially since this side of the hallway lacks lighting. This setup would feel polished yet inviting.

Option 3: Timeless & Traditional

A classic look with a console table, table lamp, and decorative accents might be the perfect solution. A wooden console table brings structure, while a grandmillennial-style lamp adds elegance. With a few well-placed accessories, this setup would feel refined and effortlessly stylish.

I’m torn between all three! What’s your favorite look? Let me know in the comments—I’d love to hear your thoughts!
